Professor Wojcik's teaching and research focus on gender, performance, film music, and genre. She is the author of The Apartment Plot: Urban Living in American Film and Popular Culture, 1945 to 1975 and Guilty Pleasures: Feminist Camp from Mae West to Madonna. She is editor of New Constellations: Movie Stars of the 1960s, Movie Acting: The Film Reader, and (as co-editor) Soundtrack Available: Essays on Film and Popular Music. She is Director of Graduate Studies in FTT and Director of the Gender Studies Program. She is on the Executive Board for the Society for Cinema and Media Studies.
