FTT Grads Finalists for Nationwide Filmmaking Award
Two former ND Film, Television, and Theatre majors are finalists for the 1998 Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker's Award. From submitted scripts and storyboards based on the theme "the movies or the movie-going experience", both Shawn Forry (ND '96) and
Kevin Loncar (ND '96) are among the ten finalists from 252 entries chosen from seven film schools around the country, and awarded a $5000 budget to make a 50 second film.
The winning film among the ten finalists will be shown on 10,000 screens throughout the country.
Kevin and Shawn are both currently graduate students at the University of Southern California. They recently appeared in a full page ad in the Hollywood Reporter (11/98).
