Born in Bay City, Michigan, Matthew Waynee earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in English and Psychology. Waynee moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California where he earned a Master's degree in screenwriting. UNKNOWN is his first screenplay. In addition his first novel, The Table, was published in 2002. He has also taught
composition at USC for the past seven years.
Matthew will talk about his career after the screening of "Unknown".
Unknown
Five men awake in a chemical warehouse, realizing they don't know who they are and how they got there. A telephone rings and the voice on the other end mentions returning to kill the hostages. Not sure who is a kidnapper and who is a hostage, the men try to decide what they are willing to do to survive this brutal situation. The psychological thriller stars Jim Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Barry Pepper, Jeremy Sisto, Joe Pantoliano, Bridget Moynahan and Peter Stormare.
