FTT professor William Donaruma and Anthropology professor Ian Kujit introduce their new book, Island Places, Island Lives, a video-book designed for a popular audience that deals with local history, archaeology and heritage of Inishbofin and Inishark, Co. Galway, Ireland. Integrating high-quality films as part of this project, this video-book highlights the potential for inter-disciplinary research, drawing upon multiple media. This augmented reality video-book uses new software to help people understand the heritage of these two islands and highlights the advanced nature of interdisciplinary research at Notre Dame.
