This University of Notre Dame collaborative faculty and student film project combines five short seven-minute research films celebrating and recording local historic barns, the experiences of the people who lived and worked on the associated farms, and the beauty of this disappearing Indiana heritage.  Filmed at three barns in Granger and South Bend as part of the Spring 2017 Visual Anthropology Class, and produced and developed by faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students, this thematically focused social documentary helps us understand and document the historical, social, economic and personal stories of 19th through 20th century Indiana people and their barns.
