Media Industries Club/FTT Internship Information Night

Several FTT students will be on hand to discuss "what they did last summer" and offer insight and advice on how to find an internship and what to expect in the professional world of FTT. Here are just a few of the students who will be there:

Denise Dorotheo               Bleacher Report, New York

Hannah Dunn                    Cheddar, New York 

Content Partnerships -- Cheddar is a live financial, tech and culture post-cable network. Hannah interned in the business development department, whose main responsibilities included pitching content to third-party publishers, researching potential distributors, marketing content to distributors and managing presentation decks. 

Caroline Lezny                  Old Globe Theatre, San Diego

As the artistic intern, Caroline helped select the 2018 season for the Tony Award-winning Old Globe Theatre and assisted with dramaturgy and community engagement for shows in rehearsal.

Winnie Mangeni                 New Group Media, South Bend

Winnie worked for this multi-faceted video production company and received hands-on experience in production as well as script development, research and client relations.

Jacqueline Marino              ABC News -- Finance Dept., New York

John McDonough               Concepts TV/National Geographic Channel,  Washington, D.C.

John worked as a production assistant at a small local infomercial production company and worked in the digital video department at NG, writing scripts and editing videos for its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Laura Migliore                     Greenlight TV, Lutz, Florida

Laura worked as a production assistant for a company that produces telecasts of car races. She often edited and directed one event. One program she edited by herself aired on CBS Sports in late August.

David Troyer                        JASH, Los Angeles

David worked as a production assistant for a group that makes low budget comedy videos for YouTube. He helped on set, was part of the production process and contributed to development and project tracking tasks.
