Panel - Vision and Action: Pioneering Women Faculty at Notre Dame

Six notable University of Notre Dame women, with illustrious careers in higher education and beyond, will gather for a panel discussion focusing on their vision and accomplishments as pioneering women in the academy from 4 to 5:15 p.m. March 29 (Wednesday) in the Patricia George Decio Theatre of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. The panelists will reflect on their experiences and early influences in their lives, educations and careers. They will also speak of their aspirations for the future of the University.

Associate dean of the College of Science Sister Kathleen Cannon, O.P., former First Year of Studies faculty member Angie Chamblee, professor of English and creative writing and renowned author Valerie Sayers, professor of ethics and business Ann Tenbrunsel and Notre Dame alumna and Board of Trustees member Nancy M. Haegel will participate in a panel discussion moderated by director of the Gender Studies Program and Film, Television and Theatre associate professor Mary Celeste Kearney.
