The London Global Gateway, along with five partners from across the University of Notre Dame campus, has launched the London Book Club, an interactive, educational enrichment program featuring Notre Dame’s expert faculty.
London’s first program, “Hitchcock in London,” is led by Professor of Film and Television and William T. and Helen Kuhn Carey Associate Professor of Modern Communication Susan Ohmer.
This 4-part series celebrates both the work of a brilliant director and the sights and sounds of a city he loved. The program includes book excerpts, films, explainer videos, mini-essays and weekly interactive Zoom sessions on Wednesdays at 1 pm EDT, and connect with other participants through a LinkedIn discussion board.
Live sessions are scheduled on September 9, 16, 23, and 30. Participants are invited to join any session.
Partners for the London Book Club include the College of Arts & Letters, ND International, the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, the Nanovic Institute, ND Learning and the Notre Dame Alumni Association.
