Anne García-Romero's play Dolorosa kicked off the SOL Project's 2026 reading series this past summer in New York City. The annual festival features new work by Latiné playwrights that reflects the diaspora of Latinidad. The Sol Project is an Obie-award winning New York City-based theater initiative dedicated to fortifying a movement that brings the voices of Latiné artists and their stories to the forefront of the new American theater.
