The Department of Film, Television, and Theatre maintains its own script library that has been made possible through the generous donations of current and former FTT faculty members.

II. Organization of the Library

The library is comprised of three different sections: Scripts, Collections, and Shakespeare. All three sections are organized alphabetically by the last name of the author (or first author if multiple are listed).

Materials can only be picked up in person from the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre’s main office located at 230 DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Students can pick up requested materials 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday.

Who can check out materials

Only current students of the University of Notre Dame are able to check out materials from the script library. Scripts can only be checked out to students by either an FTT student office assistant or the Outreach Specialist.

When are materials due

Students are able to check-out materials for up to two weeks at a time, starting from the date of the notification email that the materials are ready to be picked up,  Students will also receive a calendar invite for the due date of their items, as well as warning emails from the Outreach Specialist the day before and the day of an item being due.
